So many stories lie hidden
Cautiously…

Protected and guarded from view
In darkening corners
And unkept rooms
Inside the human soul

While the soul
In consequence
Shrinks

So many souls
Fainting and falling
Smothered and dying
Beneath
The ever mounting weight of burden
Demanded
As the token price for
Keeping secrets hidden therein

Well...
Unto what end therefore
Must each hidden story
Inevitably go…

To the slow inner death
Of those souls who will not open up

Or

The life and recovery
Of they who will

May the work you find herein
Give you the strength
To open up
